Full-timeHybridHelsinki

Senior Marketing AI Consultant

We're looking for a senior to join our AI & Agentic unit and carry a client's AI project from end to end: from the first conversation with the marketing director through the proposal, the build and the ongoing partnership, until the client's team uses what we built in their everyday work.

Who are we?

Intentio Agency is a Helsinki-based growth and data partner for ambitious brands. Our mission is to help our clients grow and, at the same time, raise the standard of consulting. We help clients with search marketing (SEM/SEO), AI visibility (GEO) and paid social, and we support growth through measurement and modelling (Data & Insights). We combine one of Finland's most experienced teams, a strong grip on data and a genuinely business-driven approach.

Our clients value us as a strategic partner and recommend us: our client NPS is 83. Our team enjoys it here too — every single person at Intentio recommends us as an employer (eNPS 100).

Intentio's AI & Agentic unit helps marketing, sales and e-commerce teams make AI and agents part of their everyday work. We don't sell tools, run one-off demos or build black boxes. Together with the client we build a new way of working: the team's own operating system, where the organisation's knowledge, data and agents work together, and which the team can use and develop itself.

The unit currently has four people: Chief AI Officer Joni Helminen, CTO Aleksi Rastas and two Junior Marketing AI Consultants. On top of that, the other teams in the house have strong builders who work with us. Not long ago clients asked what agentic AI means in marketing. Now they want to know how it gets built for them. That's why we're looking for a senior to join the unit.

What we offer

  • •A senior role in a growing unit where you get to shape what the unit and its services become.
  • •Clients who want to change the way they do marketing, not just experiment.
  • •A house where the whole team works agentically. You get to use the newest tools and build with them: on top of our shared benefits we pay for every AI tool you need and want to use. The work never stops at a token budget.
  • •Colleagues who know search marketing, paid social, SEO/GEO, data and the whole marketing field inside out.
  • •A competitive salary: €4,500–6,000/month, with the final level based on your skills. Bonuses on top.

Benefits in all roles

  • •HSL travel allowance: €1,000/year
  • •Phone benefit: up to €700 (VAT 0)
  • •ePassi lunch benefit (taxable value)
  • •Recreation benefit: €400/year
  • •Comprehensive occupational healthcare through Terveystalo
  • •Personal development budget: €1,500/year
  • •Paid annual leave from the first year
  • •Birthday day off
  • •Activity budget

Diversity matters to us

We believe in a diverse, inclusive and respectful workplace where everyone is welcome regardless of background. We encourage everyone to apply — regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation or other factors. What matters most to us is you as a person and your passion for data-driven marketing.

What the work involves

Role objectives

  • •You carry independent responsibility for clients' AI projects. You take on the client's challenge, work out what they need and carry the work from planning to delivery. You own the client communication, justify the solutions and keep the work moving. You recognise where you need others' expertise, and you bring needs, uncertainties and open questions into the internal conversation in good time.
  • •You help the team succeed in client relationships and projects. You bring your expertise into other people's projects too, spar on solutions and help solve the hard problems. You support juniors' development by guiding their work, giving feedback and sharing how you think.
  • •You develop Intentio's AI offering and our shared expertise. You spot new needs in client work and feed that experience into how we develop our services, methods and ways of building. Your work also grows everyone else's ability to design and deliver AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

01

Working out the real need

Before the solution you work out the business goal, the decision-maker and the budget. You know what a marketing or commercial director's week looks like, so your proposal lands on what actually troubles the client.

02

Roadmaps for leadership

You put together an AI roadmap for the marketing director or the leadership team, with the foundations and use cases prioritised and justified in euros.

03

Opening a client relationship

You understand where a new client relationship is best opened. You scope a small first step, price it and justify the stage that follows.

04

Leading the delivery

You lead the projects where we build agents, automations and systems, often in the client's own cloud environment. You're a strongly capable builder yourself, and the team backs you up on architecture and engineering.

05

Ongoing AI partnership

You act as the named AI lead for a client who wants one person from us every week to spar, train and build.

06

IT, security and lawyers

You know how organisations run the information security, data protection and IT governance conversations with AI vendors. Where needed you prepare draft documents (DPIA, TIA) with the client's lawyers and data protection partners, and you're the marketing director's right hand in those conversations.

07

How you spend your time

Around 60% of your time is billable work. Early on that is a lot of conversations with the client's leadership. As the work moves from sales to delivery, more and more of it becomes designing and building agents and agentic ways of working. The rest goes to internal development and to staying two steps ahead of everyone else in marketing AI.

Examples of situations you'll run into

  • •International e-commerce businesses whose ad budget should be steered several times a week and whose content should reach several languages without manual work.
  • •B2B companies whose board and leadership team are asking what agentic buying means for their sales and product data.
  • •Organisations where IT or legal says “no” to everything, and the work starts from permissions and a first win.
  • •Companies where AI use has spread without control and leadership needs focus and a sparring partner for a few days a month.
  • •Marketing teams that want to renew their skills and ways of working and to know what to develop next, without anyone falling behind.

What we're looking for

  • 💜You've worked in a marketing, e-commerce or sales team yourself, preferably leading one. You know what budget pressure, partners, a busy team and operational everyday work feel like on a Monday morning.
  • 💜You speak the same language, at the same level, as a marketing director, a CEO and a CFO. You can explain to non-technical people what an agent means for a team and how trust in an agent's work is built.
  • 💜You've already built a lot with AI: agents, automations, shared memory and tools that colleagues actually use. A coding background isn't required, but systems thinking, creative problem-solving and a builder mindset very much are.
  • 💜You want to do client work. Building matters, but in this role the client is the heart of the work.
  • 💜You know how to scope and price. You dare to say what isn't worth doing, and to disagree with the client.
  • 💜You stay calm when not everything is known yet. You'd rather say “I'll find out” than guess.
  • 💜You follow how AI develops out of your own interest and keep your skills current yourself. We support that with time and budget, but the fire has to come from you.
  • 💜You speak and write fluent Finnish and English.

We also appreciate

Experience in consulting or on the agency side, an understanding of performance marketing (budget steering, feeds, creative testing, reporting), the basics of data protection and information security, and experience of leading and managing change in an organisation.

Recruitment process

01

First conversation: getting to know each other

We go through your background and the things you've built, and tell you about the unit. (45–60 min)

02

Client situations together: validating how you think

We go through a few short client situations from our everyday work and look at how you'd take them forward. Nothing to prepare in advance. (~75 min)

03

Reference check

We ask you for references to support our recruitment team's final decision.

04

Meet your future team

You meet your future colleagues, often over lunch or at an afterwork. (~1 h)

Interested?

Send us your CV along with a short description of yourself. Tell us what kind of marketing, e-commerce or sales team you've worked in, and include links to 1–3 things you've built with AI (a repo, a demo or a short video). We review applications as they come in.
